The Block Program was founded by Tiffany and Alan Taylor, a passionate husband-and-wife duo who grew up in the heart of Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood. With over 24 years of experience as the owners and operators of The Baby Play Place Daycare, their lifelong commitment to nurturing and educating children shines through everything they do.

Motivated by love for their community and a deep desire to make a lasting impact, Tiffany and Alan created The Block Program—a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space where children ages 5 to 12 can thrive. Designed with Autism and ADHD inclusion at its core, The Block Program embraces every child’s uniqueness while encouraging growth, creativity, and connection.

Rooted in STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), the program sparks curiosity and critical thinking through hands-on learning experiences. Our annual summer camp invites children on a journey of discovery through exciting activities, meaningful community engagement, and enriching adventures throughout the city and beyond.
